These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the purchase of products marketed through the website www.contedoro.com.
Access to and use of the site imply acceptance of these conditions.

2. Products
Contedoro markets extra virgin olive oil, condiments, and selected agri-food products.
The images on the site are for illustrative purposes. Any differences in packaging, labeling, or graphic details do not alter the quality and characteristics of the product.
The information provided in the product sheets accurately describes the main characteristics of the items offered.
3. Prices
All prices are expressed in Euro (€) and include VAT.
Contedoro reserves the right to change prices at any time. Changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
Any promotions or discounts will be valid exclusively for the period indicated on the site.
4. Purchasing Procedures
To make a purchase, it is necessary to:
- select the desired products;
- add them to the cart;
- complete the shipping and billing information;
- choose the payment method;
- confirm the order.
Once the procedure is completed, the customer will receive a confirmation email containing the summary of the purchase.
5. Billing
For every order placed on the website www.contedoro.com, the relative tax document is issued according to current regulations.
Customers wishing to receive an invoice are required to provide, at the time of ordering:
- Company Name (if a business);
- VAT Number;
- Tax Code;
- SDI Recipient Code or PEC address.
The request for an invoice must be made at the same time as the order. It will not be possible to request the issuance of an invoice at a later time if the tax document has already been issued.
The electronic invoice will be transmitted through the Exchange System (SDI) and made available according to the procedures provided by Italian tax legislation.
Payments
6. Payment Methods
Contedoro provides its customers with various secure payment methods to ensure maximum flexibility during the purchase.
The following payment methods are accepted:
- Credit and debit cards from major international circuits;
- PayPal;
- Klarna (installment payment where available);
- Advance Bank Transfer;
- Cash on Delivery (where available for the selected destination).
Payment by Credit Card
Card payments are managed through certified platforms that use advanced security protocols for the protection of sensitive data.
Contedoro does not store nor have access to the full details of the cards used by customers.
Payment with PayPal
By choosing PayPal, the customer can make the payment using their PayPal account or the methods offered by the platform at the time of purchase.
The charge occurs simultaneously with the order confirmation.
Payment with Klarna
Klarna allows you to split the payment according to the options available at the time of purchase.
The approval of financing and the management of installments are the exclusive responsibility of Klarna, according to its own contractual conditions.
Payment via Bank Transfer
In the case of payment by advance bank transfer, the order will be processed after the actual credit of the amount to the current account held by Contedoro S.r.l.
Bank details will be communicated during the purchase procedure and in the order confirmation.
To speed up processing, it is possible to send a copy of the transfer receipt to the address:
Cash on Delivery
Where available, the customer may choose to pay upon delivery.
Any surcharge for the cash-on-delivery service will be clearly indicated during checkout before the order confirmation.
Payment must be made directly to the courier according to the methods accepted by the courier.
Transaction Security
All transactions carried out on the website www.contedoro.com take place via protected connections and secure payment systems compliant with international security standards, in order to guarantee the confidentiality and protection of user data.
Shipping and Returns
7. Shipping
Contedoro ships to Italy and major countries worldwide.
Shipments are entrusted to the following couriers:
- BRT
- GLS
- DHL
- FedEx
The choice of courier may vary based on the destination and logistical needs.
8. Delivery Times
Orders are generally processed within 24 working hours of confirmation.
Average delivery times within the national territory are between:
24 and 48 working hours
except for delays due to extraordinary events, holidays, strikes, or issues attributable to the couriers.
For islands and remote locations, slightly longer times may be required.
9. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout.
Shipping is free for orders over €70.00.
For lower amounts, the cost will be clearly indicated before the order confirmation.
9 bis. International Shipments – Duties and Customs Charges
For orders destined for non-EU countries or destinations subject to customs procedures, any customs duties, local taxes, import VAT, customs clearance fees, or other charges requested by the authorities of the destination country are exclusively the responsibility of the customer.
Such amounts, where due, will be requested directly by the courier in charge of delivery or by the competent customs authorities and are not included in the price of the products nor in the shipping costs indicated during the purchase.
Any refusal to pay the aforementioned charges or failure to accept the shipment by the recipient may result in the return of the goods to the sender. In such cases, Contedoro reserves the right to withhold shipping and return costs and any costs incurred, refunding the customer only the remaining amount of the order, where applicable.
10. Verification of Goods
Upon delivery, the customer is invited to check:
- the integrity of the packaging;
- the absence of tampering;
- the correspondence of the number of packages.
Any anomalies must be reported immediately to the courier and communicated to Contedoro within 48 hours of delivery.
It is advisable to keep the original packaging and document any damage with photographs.
11. Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the consumer customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the products.
The communication must be sent via email to the address:
indicating:
- order number;
- name;
- products affected by the withdrawal.
12. Return Procedures
Products must be returned:
- intact;
- unused;
- complete with original packaging;
- adequately packaged.
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer except in cases of error or non-conformity attributable to Contedoro.
13. Exclusions from Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:
- opened food products;
- perishable products;
- personalized items;
- products without the original packaging.
14. Refunds
Once the integrity of the returned goods has been verified, Contedoro will provide a refund within 14 days.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
14. Damaged or Non-Conforming Products
Should the customer receive a damaged, defective, or different product from the one ordered, they must contact Contedoro within 48 hours of delivery by sending:
- order number;
- description of the problem;
- photographic documentation.
After the necessary checks, Contedoro will provide for the replacement or refund of the product.
16. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law.
For any dispute relating to the interpretation, execution, or validity of these conditions, the Court of Benevento shall have jurisdiction, except in cases where the law provides for the consumer’s court.
