Oil from Ravece Locoil seasons the Ariano Irpino Pizza Festival.
Last year was an unparalleled event in the South, where the culinary excellence of Campania coexists.
Think of a forest in the open countryside of Ariano, it may be unusual, but imagine it filled with wood-fired ovens, frenzied pizza makers, trails and food stands flooding with intense flavors and smells an expanse of land where for four evenings in August artists and musicians performed in front of thousands of young people, families and festive children. So that was last year’s Pizza Festival in Ariano Irpino, and what better ally of taste could have seasoned the success of this event than the oil from Ravece LoCoil.

This is the Press comment at the end of the 13th edition of the Pizza Festival organized by the Francesco Albanese Association. It was a record-breaking event: more than 23,000 attendees and more than 15,000 pizzas sold, with attendance also from other regions, cabaret and music with important guests such as the comedians from Made In Sud and the Salento-based Sud Sound System & Bag A Riddim Band.
A festival perfectly dedicated to the family in a setting that is perhaps unparalleled in Campania and throughout the Central South.
Last year’s novelty undoubtedly concerned the Taste Route and the Cacio Stands, in which we could taste typical Irpinian dishes and the infamous caciocavallo impiccato. A gastronomic mix that lives on through the centuries and that on this occasion saw the contribution of extra virgin olive oil from our mill in a context that made us truly proud, because to appreciate the quality of our oil combined with the typicalities of the Irpinian territory were really in the thousands and it was deduced by watching the reactions and expressions of people satisfied and enraptured by the intensity of the flavor of Ravece.
With these motivations, we continue to grow more and more, with the aim of exalting the excellence of a provincial area capable, however, of giving enormous satisfaction as in these splendid four August evenings.
